Aikido: Ushiro Ryotedori Kokyunage & Koshinage - Closing the gap

Do you sometimes struggle executing Koshinage? Or maybe you're hesitant or afraid of taking ukemi for Koshinage?

In today's video, I'm going to share a couple clips from a seminar I taught back in 2018 in Los Angeles. In these clips, I lead into Koshinage from Ushiro Ryotedori. First we work on Kokyunage and then we move on to a little bit of Koshinage.

We had a good number of beginner and intermediate students at the seminar, so the movement isn't quite as dynamic or explosive as some of my other videos.

But that makes the pace perfect for studying along with the video.

Let’s check it out.
