Vision & Goals
Before you take action steps, it's best to get clear on your vision and goals. This module leads you through this process, making sure you haven't overlooked any important factors.
Module 2
How to Optimize Your Dojo's Website
Your website is only as good as the results it gets you. Set up your dojo's website to get people through the door and work for you 24/7.
Module 3
Promoting & Onboarding
In this module, I'll share promotional strategies that have worked for me and systems I use to help onboard new dojo members and prospective new members.
Module 4
Their Transition to Ongoing Membership
In a sense, someone's "Aikido journey" begins when they become a member of the dojo. We'll take a look at ways that you can support them in this big step
Module 5
Retain Current Members AND Attract New Ones
Without the proper tools and mindset, it's easy to either a) get complacent with promoting, once you hit a certain target number of students or b) get complacent supporting your current members.
Build Dojo Membership In Modern Times & Beyond Via ZOOM Video Conference
All our live course sessions take place on the Zoom video conference platform. Zoom is easy to use and a great way to train virtually with our global dojo community!
All you need for joining the calls is a good internet connection and a camera on your laptop or desktop. It's a simple click of the Zoom link to join the conference call.
For mobile devices, all you need to do is download the Zoom App in the APP STORE, or on GOOGLE PLAY for Android devices.
Program Content Description
Weekly Presentation Videos for Each Module
During this 5-week course, you will receive access to weekly presentation videos, based on the upcoming module theme.
Access will be granted several days before our live session, giving you time to view the presentation and prepare any questions you would like to ask during the live session.
Weekly Live Sessions w/ Lia Suzuki Sensei
For 5 Sundays, you will meet virtually with Lia Sensei and the other course members. This will be your chance to ask any questions you might have about the presentation video, or for that matter, other questions about teaching.
These live course sessions will take place on Sundays at the following time:
10:30am PST • 1:30pm EST • 18:30 UK • 19:30 CET

Lia Suzuki Sensei is a senior student of Yoshinobu Takeda Shihan and National Director and Founder of Aikido Kenkyukai International USA.
For nearly 10 years, she lived and trained intensively under Takeda Shihan in Japan. Suzuki Sensei's experience in Japan also gave her the opportunity to train with the late Yamaguchi Sensei and other notable masters.
She currently is based in Los Angeles, and directly oversees several dojos in her network in the USA and the UK. Suzuki Sensei travels extensively throughout the world, teaching at dojos outside of her affiliation, as well.
Her mission is to foster inclusion in the Aikido world, rather than division, and to increase Aikido’s popularity among youth and those in their 20's and 30's.
